Dad's, Issues Facing Men and Fathers
Any male can plant a seed and become a dad, but only a responsible, loving man can be a father. Dr. J T Clemons
Dad's is a quarterly message written for men. The objective is to write a message that is relative to boys and their fathers. Over the years, we have noticed an alarming behavior problems related to boys.
We also noticed a lack of involvement of some fathers in the lives of their children. Data produced by Clemtec's research department in their 2025 Discipline Management Report revealed the following:
1.Too many fathers are not directly involved in their male child's life or their teen or growing years.
2.Too many fathers leave rearing of children to mother's and are not as involved as fathers should .
3.Too many fathers only bond with their male child in sports related activities.
4.Too many fathers do not have life long communication with their male child on key issues of life.
5.Too many fathers write off warning signs in a male child's life as "just being boys"
6.Too many fathers do not recognize danger signs of a disciplinary or behavior problem.
7.Too many fathers use the excuse,"he will out grow it" rather than being a father, and directly impacting a child's life.
8. Too many fathers are totally unprepared to deal with fatherhood.
9. Too many fathers abandon their responsibility to their children.
10. Too many fathers are irresponsible in setting positive examples in a boy's life.
11. Too many fathers use unemployment as an excuse for irresponsibility and child neglect.
12. Too many father do not support mothers in discipline decisions for male children.
13. Too many fathers will not admit that their child is the school bully.
14. Too many fathers do not address the abuse and disrespect to educators caused by their sons.
15. many fathers are unprepared to deal with domestic violence.
16. Too many fathers are the primary factor in domestic violence.
17. Too many fathers are not listening to the "right" people.
As a results of these implications, Dad's will each quarter address the most pressing issues found by our research department in their 2025 company report. It is our goal to provide views that focus on males issues.
You may not agree with a particular viewpoint ,but if we write anything that influences you , or creates a better father-son relationship, please use it!. Our goal is your child, and how we can help you help him.
